The Homecoming celebration isn't just limited to game day. The entire week of Homecoming is loaded with activities for Javelina alumni, fans and friends. Below is a list of events with all of the major festivities. And don't forget to get your ticket for the main event...the Homecoming gave vs. Tarleton State!
Tuesday – October 18, 2011
Talent Show
7:00 p.m. - Student Union Building Ballroom A (Open to the Public)
The student body shows off its talents at this annual event. Singing, dancing, acting - you name it, these students have got it!
Wednesday – October 19, 2011
Fall Carnival
5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - University Blvd. (Open to the Public)
This family favorite gives the community the opportunity to visit with many of the University's student groups. This event also serves as a valuable fundraisers for the participating student groups that need community support. With lots of giveaways and activities, it's a fun for all ages.

Homecoming Kick-Off Concert
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Happy Hour, 7:00 p.m. - midnight - Live music @ JK Northway (Open to the Public)
A Javelina good time with live music by Southern Scarred, Mick Cruz, Mark McKinney & Brandon Rhyder. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10.00 or at the door for $15.00 before 10 p.m. and $20.00 after 10 p.m. Charge is just $10.00 at the door for Texas A&M-Kingsville students that present a valid university ID.

 Frank H. Dotterweich Statue Unveiling & 10th Anniversary of the Frank H. Dotterweich Engineering Complex
10:30 a.m. - Courtyard of Frank H. Dotterweich Engineering Complex
Celebrate the legacy of Frank H. Dotterweich at the unveiling of his statue in front of the Frank H. Dotterweich Engineering Complex. The College of Engineering will also hold an open house in honor of the 10th Anniversary of the complex. Family, friends and alumnus honored Dr. Dotterweich by donating to the creation of the statue to memorialize his love for his students, engineering and our university. The unveiling will be followed by a reception with the opportunity to view a film recounting Doc's legacy.
University Tours including Path of Success Brick Reception
2:00 p.m. - Tours start at Pavilion on the North side of the Memorial Student Union Building and end at Student Union Building Courtyard (Open to the Public)
Haven't been back to the University in awhile? Take this 30-minute tour to see all of the new buildings and structures on campus including the new Rec Center, Dorms, Dining Facility and Pavilion, just to name a few.
The tour concludes with a stroll down the Path of Success, a walkway of memorial bricks honoring those that are Javelinas for Life.
Javelina Alumni Association Century Club Gathering
6:00 p.m - 7:30 p.m. - President & Mrs. Tallant's Home (for Century Club members and higher)
This annual event is for Alumni Association Century Club members. Enjoy wine, hors d'euvres, mingling and the opportunity to chat with the President at this elegant reception.

A blow out party, Javelina style! Enjoy live music from the Turnpike Troubadours with great hits like "Whole Damn Town", "7&7" and this summer's smash hit "Long Hot Summer Days". There will also be food, entertainment, numerous booths of area businesses, giveaways and a great view of the bonfire from Mesquite Grove. Hank T. Moon from Badlands 94.7 radio will be hosting a live remote sponsored by Don's Cleaners and L&F Distributors. This party has it all! And best of all - it's FREE!!! Hog Call & Bon Fire
Starts at dusk (approximately 7:00 p.m.) - Intramural Fields across from Javelina Station (University Blvd. & Corral Ave.) (Open to the Public)
An energizing pep rally around a massive blaze - sounds like a blast! With students and alumni leading raucous cheers, there's no better way to get fired up for a Javelina victory! Once the rally has concluded, head on over to Mesquite Grove where the party continues at Jav - a - Pachanga!
