The Concert Choir is the first collegiate group invited to participate in the symposium, featuring primarily, urban and rural educators from the seven states of the Southwestern Division (Texas, Colorado, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma), along with other educators beyond those areas.

Concert Choir's performance will include selections performed previously by the group at their April 16 concert on campus.  Among the selections to be performed will be Locus iste by Anton Bruckner, Sicut cervus by Palestrina and Quicksand Years by Rene Clausen.

In addition to performing, the Concert Choir also will serve as a demonstration choir for “Introduction to Gospel Music” at the symposium, providing support to the presenter by demonstrating musical examples discussed in the presentation.
