NEWS - LSC Cross Country Championships

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS – Texas A&M-Kingsville will host the Lone Star Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday, October 25 at the L.E. Ramey Golf Course. The site of the race was originally scheduled to be held on NAS-Kingsville, but had to be relocated due to unforeseen circumstances.
The L.E. Ramey Golf Course is located at FM 3320, Kingsville, TX 78363. Teams will be able to practice on the course on Friday from 4:30-6:00. All the teams will then eat dinner in the Tejas Room in the Student Union Building at 7 o’clock. The coach’s meeting will begin at 7:15 in the Alumni Room on the second floor.
On Saturday, the course will open at 8 o’clock. The men’s 8-kilometer race will start at 9:30 AM, followed by the women’s 6-kilometer race at 10:30 AM. Texas A&M-Kingsville President Steven Tallant will present the awards following the women’s race. The timing and scoring of the races will be done by Flash Results and can be viewed on-line at www.flashresults.com/flashtexas.
